The vegan goods market is a little piece of heaven for vegans, vegetarians, and allergy parents all around Cape Town. I was so happy when Vicky from JVbaby vlogs invited us to go with them, because without them we would have probably never have known about it. Continue reading
Things to do in Cape Town video for anyone who just doesn’t feel like reading about it.
From the second we arrived at the waterfront Arren started cooing and aawing like we took him to Disney land. Continue reading
Did you know that giraffes reach up to 6m, making them the tallest land mammal? Another fun fact, Arren’s favourite animal is the humble giraffe or Gerald as we lovingly call them. When you have kids, everything changes, gone are the days of being able to go on a spontaneous hike at a second’s notice, instead it’s been replaced by packing 5 different bags filled with “what if this happens” things, and so many snacks you could probably solve the world’s hunger problem.
^^ Amazing Nori wrap. Cauliflower rice with kale, fresh veggies and beetroot hummus for an added bit of amazingness.
^^ We went to a strawberry farm for the biggest, cheapest strawberries of the season! The cutest little farm stall with some angry elderly people ready to elbow anyone they can out of the way.
^^ Really big strawberries.
^^ 25 weeks pregnant. Where did my ribs go?
^^ This entire farm is filled with a crazy amount of scarecrows. If a bird landed on these fields I would be shocked.
^^ Early morning hikes.
^^ So many scarecrows.
^^ Beautiful sunset over the ocean after a visit to family.
How was your weekend? We’ve been walking and hiking all around Sea point and lions head, before we leave for our new place at the end of the month! We decided to visit a cute little strawberry farm I remember visiting as a child, they seem to have gone completely bonkers with the amount of scarecrows the have up, and I hope they don’t get any bird attacks with all those guys around, but who knows, birds do what they want.
25 weeks pregnant and 2 days today. WOW! It feels like I woke up and my ribs somehow disappeared, baby has decided to move into my ribs and kick as hard as possible all the time. Baby seems to be having a lot of fun in my womb and likes throwing parties and mosh pits on the inside daily.
