Berlin was one of our first stops on our first Rv trip, but we really didn’t get to experience Berlin as much as we wanted to, because of the sickness that swept through the Rv during that first trip, this time we were all healthy and really had time to enjoy it.
Liechtenstein was definitely one of the places I’m so glad we stopped at and explored, not having gone to Italy was kind of a downer, but we really got to see so much of Europe that we loved, Liechtenstein might have been someplace we never thought about visiting, but after watching an episode of Super Wings with Arren we felt like we had to go explore.
Arriving in Switzerland was nothing short of magic, the alps, the people, the pure magic everywhere. There is just something about Switzerland and it’s pure exquisite nature that made it my favorite place we’ve traveled to immediately, but boy did we get hit with a whole bunch of obstacles from almost the moment we arrived.
The thing about Rving through Europe is, you start realizing how small and intertwined Europe really is. One second you’re in Poland the next you’re in Czech Republic, and literally a minute later you’re back in Poland. When we back tracked to get to Switzerland we popped out of Italy to pop right back into Austria.
When we started our Rv trip Italy already had some coronavirus cases, but when we were about to enter Italy the cases already shot through the roof. and there was no way of really avoiding the north of Italy to get in.
After the aquarium we were ready to explore. We grabbed some snacks from the Rv and headed out.
We arrived in Austria and were ready for our adventure, we had our eyes set at this free parking spot at this amazing castle, but when we arrived, we realized it’s not that great of a spot, as we drove into the parking area we noticed no cars and a police car just eyeballing us as we stopped the car. When RV-ing in Summer time we had heatwaves and no aircon to worry about, RV-ing in Winter was a whole different level of scary. Driving on extremely small roads that are somehow suppose to be for oncoming traffic as well and you might as well be driving a mini bus is scary. Having to go off the road to let other cars pass you while you wonder will we ever be able to get out of this snow ditch? Continue reading
You think having gone on an RV trip before we would have ironed out all the wrinkles, but we made a mistake on our very first day. Continue reading
We did it again! We Rv’d through Europe for the second time. This time around we had our sights set on Italy, but we got into the North of Italy and had a major panic attack and decided to rather head to Switzerland. The joy of taking a trip with an van is that you can change your plans at any second. Travelling in Europe with the coronavirus right now felt a little bit crazy, every single place we went to had confirmed cases, attractions seemed a little bit emptier than usual and every time I saw a mask the reality of the situation just kicked in. It was really scary, but we tried our best to stay as healthy as we could and to practice good hand washing hygiene. Continue reading
