we decided to go on a spontaneous trip to kirstenbosch gardens. Last time we were there we had our big old stroller with us and we didn’t get to see everything we wanted. This time we strapped Arren to Carl’s chest and walked around with him in the carrier. He loved suckling on his papa’s finger while looking at all the new things.
Its so incredibly beautiful in the gardens its like being in a little piece of paradise, its a little oasis of green in this drought.
the bridge was amazing, until I stopped and realized….its moving?! I guess that’s why its named after a snake. Somehow I kept my cool and took some photos, and enjoyed the view.
We had a little sit down and had our little bag of crudites and dip, while wondering why we didn’t pack real food? Every time!
This guy was all smiles and giggles after he had a little vomit. He started laughing like crazy when I asked him “who is a little disgusting baby?”.
after all the fun……
just like clockwork the witching hours started……as we tried to make our way out of the gardens with a screaming, overstimulated baby that was inconsolable, the gardens felt huge, but as soon as we got in the car he fell asleep.
It was a nice change of pace, this guy usually hates the car. Next time we will definitely get out before the witching hour starts.
