Our love of Mexican food has been inherited by little Arren. We are firm believers that Mexican food is the best food, that and any Asian cuisine and when you believe that you best believe your baby is going to be a big old fan of some black beans.

When you first find out your pregnant you start scrutinising everything you have in your house, wondering if it is safe for your unborn baby, but when your baby starts crawling you really look at everything in your house like the death traps they are. Baby proofing becomes a necessity when your cute little immobile baby becomes a slow moving menace.

We had all these plans to take Arren to the park and take him for a walk along the promenade, but our last minute add on, turned into the only thing we ended up doing. Rhodes memorial blew my mind, the view from this colossus of a monument is incredible.
I’m not the best sharer in the world, I have a really difficult time sharing food with people. I’ve been known to throw a bowl of food away, because someone grossly took a bite out of it, but I did share my body for 9 months with my baby and even though I’m a bad sharer, I’ve created the best little sharer around. What child doesn’t have a fond memory of the circus? and at the ripe old age of 7 months Arren got to experience his first animal free circus! What a lucky little boy.
Arren is a natural at grabbing and eating. Yesterday, he actually grabbed an apple out of my hand. I was really hungry so I wasn’t that amused, but this boy loves to eat and try new food. When it came to these red lentil and vegetable fritters he just couldn’t get enough. He kept grabbing for more, when finally I had to cut him off, if you’ve ever seen a baby tantrum, you know it’s not pretty. Continue reading
